Another year over and guess what? Yup it seemed to go quicker than ever. A rather odd year as far as I am concerned. And as I get to write this I get to write it. We started the year by changing the order of our standard holidays. We skied over the new year. This meant driving down to the Alps through the worst weather we have seen for years. We also went with some additional friends making it a chalet for 12. Note quite cheaper by the dozen but still a load of fun. Off to Centre Parcs over the weekend of Nathan's birthday. He's taken up fishing this year which has been the subject of much amusement. We swam with sharks! Well one shart and that was made out of plastic and was remote control. See roboshark for more details. We then did Stonehenge. Giving the kids some culture on what turned out to be a good week for geocaching. See Geocaching for more details. We managed several camping trips having invested in a tent for the first time in goodness knows how many years. Tina went away for a girlies weekend up north. Much alcohol was consumed! Just before our main summer hols in Cornwall Tina & I went to Ascott. We had the use of a box and open bar. I was off drinking for about a week after that! Christmas came and went and now it's back to looking forward to next years events.
